LED Tail Light question
Does anyone have any LEDS in there tail lights in there s-types? I smoked out my rear lamps and have LED'S in there, but for some reason the 2 LEDS will not work on the brake light lamp which is the 7225 bulb, all the other LEDS work fine. It gives me a bulb out on the dash, but as soon as I put the stock bulbs back in it works fine. I have test checked the bulbs and they work fine, so its def not the bulbs! If anyone has any information on this, please let me know! thanks!
Had the same problem with my previous car, a Saab 9000. The OEM brake lights were 21 watts and the tail lamp 7 watts. Computer saw a significant difference in wattage requirement for LED's, more so for the brakes, and indicated a fault with the brake-light bulb.
At the time I thought I was just another Saab feature - maybe Jag also?
