Lights will not turn off
I just installed a new battery on my 2000 Jag s type, however once i connect the cables to the battery the all the external lights comes on even though the light switch is in the off position...can someone please help
Were the lights working properly before you put the battery in? Assuming they were, you may have installed the battery on top of the transit relay connector and shorted the wires. It is a small white 2 wire connector near the battery on a length of wire about 16" long.
Yes, everything was working fine before i noticed that my speedometer stopped working, and then when i tried to start my car the next morning the battery was dead. after i replaced the battery i noticed that the exterior lights stayed on until i started the ignition. Once i started the ignition, i noticed that my lights turned off, however my wipers, turn lights, and speedometer where not working. Iam not sure if it could be a modular or something...
