Default Locked Keys in the trunk- Help!

I locked my keys in the trunk. My spare is in my golf bag which is also in my trunk.. Smooth huh...

I had someone get the doors open but the alarm went off and I cant pop the trunk.. I cant fold the seats down since the pull cord is in the trunk..I cant disconnect the battery because its in the trunk..
03 S-type Anyone have suggestions maybe involving the Valet button in the glove box? last resort before I have to order a new key for $175

Thanks

Read this... I (read "The Wife") just did this not too long ago. Good luck.

OK first thanks for the help and quickness..
I got the bottom part of the seat out with the tabs.. Anyone know what the 2 different size bolts are connecting the bottom part of the seat back? I am not at home and will need to buy the tools so the bolt size will be a huge help. Thanks again

I know this won't really help just now, but I recommend this method for anyone with a history of locking in their keys (like me!). It takes 99 cents and a little bit of training..

Step 1. Buy a clip, most auto parts stores have them right on the counter in many colors.
Step 2. Train yourself and/or your spouse to secure the fob to the clip before opening the door or unbuckling your seatbelt--whichever works for you.

I'm awful with keys, cell phones and remote controls so the clip, which I keep secured to my bag really saves my a$$! It also keeps me from having to dig around looking for my keys.
I will probably (regardless of the clip) never lose my keys because the Jag came with 2 fobs and 3 valet keys which are distributed amongst those that know me well, and one I keep hidden in the car, in case I do shut them in the trunk -which I did once--on purpose-long story short--I had no pockets.

I am almost 30 and have never locked keys in the car before and it will be a long time before it happens again if ever..I hate bulky key chains so that clip would just drive me nuts..

I removed 4 silver bolts and the 2 larger black bolts in the middle but the seat back isn't giving me much room yet.. Are there other screws at the bottom I am not seeing?

Pull the side cushions off, (They have the tabs as well) you will see I think two more bolts per side. Then you can pull the bottom of the seat up far enough to very uncomfortably reach in there and either pull the seat release, or use something to grab you keys. Not much room though.

You're not even 30 yet. It doesn't get better with age ... LOL.

Hope it's fixed by now?

Add a pull wire to pull the lock open and hide it under the body in the rear.

All my Italian cars have those.

As soon as I found out the cost of replacement keys nowadays, (and all the tomfoolery you have to go through to have them programmed), I immediately bought a metal clip device used for dog-leads, and fastened it to an 18" length of light chain so I could have my keys in use, but still have them fastened to my waistband. I NEVER unclip them until I get into the house. If I ever get irritated over the chain I tell myself "it's £300 to £500 and a lot more irritation if you lose them". I stop being irritated then in about 2 microseconds.
