Put the key in the slot and rotate wrist approximately 45 degrees.
If you put your head down and look up above license plate where license plate lamps are you will see lock barrel.
Put key in there and have at it. I would look into fixing the electrical non opening.

My trunk/gas flap button panel in the interior has been pushed in so that the buttons do not move.
Anyone ever worked with one of these and how in the world do you get it pushed back out? Yes I know you probably get behind it but have not figured out how to get there yet!
