Driving a nice black STR with tinted winders? It was this morning just before 9 am on the eastbound 210 freeway in the Upland/Rancho Cucamonga area. I was putting along at 70 when you went by around 85 or so. No way was I going to try and catch you, the CHP does patrol that area moderatively heavy and I just didn't feel like getting busted.
Nice car though.....

I wonder this when I come across Jags in my area too-- I know there are quite a few around here...

So, big hellos to whomever had the gorgeous gold XK8 convertable and the shiny dark green X-type on the rooftop lot this afternoon in Yorktown, next time leave a wedge for the Kitty to park up there too!

Very nice ride Randy...Is that what the S Type looks like when it's "Full Growed", or another animal all together. I assume the S Type is no longer in production...
Drive On !!...

S-Type ceased production in 2008. The XF is an entirely different animal.

Well, it's a bit different, but not entirely! Same DEW98 platform, though with some more tweaks.

They did mess with some of the engines more than a little

The 2009 XF is identical to the S type under the skin. Same drive train and suspension. 2010 is when the great 5.0 direct injection engine was introduced, along with many other upgrades. I hope to upgrade to an XFR from my STR but it would need to be a 2010 or newer. That 510 HP is a very nice increase from my current 390HP!!!

That's 120 HP this is a huge leap forward considering my daily ride is only 113 HP lol
