OK here it goe's again. I have a 95 jag xj6. it is my first jag and I like to do my own work. I don't see an easy way of changing the light bulb for the turn signal or should I say I don't see how you change it. I have a cracked low beam headlamp to and not sure how to change it. The headlight works but I am afraid with wet weather comming it will burn out. They seem like a rediculos questions but I am baffeled. I might add I have a Chevy back greound and this is new stuff to me. Would anyone know where I can find an owners manual for my XJ 6? When you stop laughing maybe someone can answere my questions. I should add what an awesome car this is. I have finally seen the light. Thanks .Rick

You are in the wrong section for this question. Take to the section that relates to your model car.

The space saver spare is that way. I'm sure it's not the case on the standard wheels and tires.

Holmes, atleast as of a few years ago, you can just change the rubber portion of a tire and not the whole wheel. So, if they said that, then they are pulling your leg. Now, with that being said, if you go with new rims, then you have to in some cases get a new state inspection since the tires can affect the safety of the vehicle. Normally this new inspection was what was referred to as a "Recon" inspection (recondition inspection). If you changed the rim size by more than 1" or you changed the tire width by 20MM as I recall. But then, this was true for anything that could be construed as affecting the safety of the vehicle (ie, new tail lights, new tail light bulbs, new head lights, lifting/dropping the vehicle suspension, etc). So, unless they changed the law recently, you are being messed with. I lived in Honolulu for 3 years and had to deal with their vehicle laws.
