Hello , just about to remove my blown engine , i was wondering which way to take the engine out, from the top with out gearbox or drop it complete in the cradle from gear box, any advice/help will be greatly appreciated . thanks all.

 

s type 4.0 v8 petrol auto. engine broke a conrod small end and punched the oil pan and spacer . scrap i think. so i bought a second hand one to put in.
