Default Molding/trim above windows
I have searched far and wide on this, can't find a thing. My color matched, plastic molding/trim piece above my drivers side rear door window is coming off. It looks as though there are some hard white fasteners or some kind of adhesive that holds them on??? Does anyone know a fix for this or what kind of clips or fasteners I need? Possibly double sided tape? Vehicle is 2005 STR. Thanks

I used some sort of bonding black gel that i put in the cracks and pushed it back in place and used blue tape to let it dry and bond. I have a friend that used the 3M glue, I used another regular bonding agent and it worked fine. You just have to wiggle and push it back in place. I think double sided tape would be too thick and it would be out of place.

Thanks Greg, do you have any idea what brand/type of bonding glue you used? I am somewhat clueless at this type of thing. Thanks -Joe

There is a bonding glue for this that dries clear! I used a black bonding glue( forget the name).
if I had to do again, I would use the clear one I was looking at, its a 5 minute cure time.
