The correct term is "global window close". Been discussed here several times over the past few months....

Try just typing " www.ownerinfo.jaguar.com" in your browser.

It works for me at home or work.

Haha. Bunch of rowdy know-it-all sphincters.

You are talking about sticking the key in the door look to open or close all the windows?

try unlocking your car with your remote and then holding down the unlock button for a few seconds. See what happens...

Nah, they'll just refuse to operate for you about once a week. You'll have to do a hard reboot by turning the key to position 2, releasing the electronic park brake, stepping out of the car to face northwest, and then bowing to the Queen. After you do those things in sequential order, your windows should operate normally again....

Btw, is there easier way to close all the window other than using the key? I know you can open all window with remote. Can we close all with remote?

Yes you can but the function has to be enabled by the dealer.

I can open/close everything except my drivers window I haven't tracked down the gremlin yet, I may try Jon89's procedure.

My 2004 jaguar X-type AWD 3.0, V6.

I got it with 61,900 miles in January, so far is running fantastic and all is fine. I have put 7,000 miles in it in just 4 months, it might need new brake pads.

I am thinking in getting a black wood grain steering wheel but
how can I uninstall mine?

I see air bag written on the plastic center cover where the emblem is. I am afraid of pulling the plastic center cover out where emblem is on the steering and get the air bag off (driver),

Is there any way to turn off the air bag if applicable? I do not know how I should uninstall my old steering wheel to get the new steering in.

Anyone?

Thanks,
Rf

Jon,

That only works on the European mainland. If you try that in NC you'll be facing Jeff in OH. Not that there's anything wrong with that but I don't think he has much royal blood in him.
