MPH to KMH 2005 STR

MPH to KMH 2005 STR
My 2005 STR was originally a US car and has the speedo with MPH and KMH as a hard to read subscale. Canada is metric so want a KMH speedo.
Does anyone know if just the speedo can be changed if I find a KMH version? A whole cluster for this car is stupidly expensive and can't find any used ones for this particular version XR834784 (seems to be superseded by XR853381)
