Default My 2006

OK, I'm going to look for a little help with my 2006 V3.0 here. I bought it about 8 months ago no issues, and have put about 8K miles on it (46K now). Nice ride. But I have noticed a brake issue recently. Only after first starting the car in the morning the brakes are weak. What I mean by weak I have to put the pedal to the floor when backing out. Once on the road, by the time I hit the first stop sign everything is good. Vacuum leak? Needs new pads? Not sure but I'll probably have the pads done soon, they haven't been done yet. Might try that myself or let my local mechanic do it. Thanks.

Have you checked the usual suspects (brake fluid reservoir full, signs of fluid leakage at any of the hose connections)? Sounds to me like air in the system. I would pull the wheels, check the condition of the calipers/pads/hoses, clean them if needed, and bleed the brakes as an initial effort....
