It was an exotic car meet and rally this past Sunday; large group of cars including ferarris, lambos, porsches, vipers, GTRs, Lotus, R8s, teslas, Astons, McLarens, etc
Spent $200 on gas Sunday alone over 500km, tearing it up through Ontario's scenic and twisty Muskoka-region roads!
Think you can spot me here too... Thanks to Lucas Scarfone Photography for this one!

Here's some pics from the eurocharged dyno day,
The STR at Eurocharged for the day...
Thanks to Jay T. Photography for this one!
Here's a random shot of my car spotted by a local photographer, thanks to Will @ flash fine photography for this one:

Thanks for the kind words!
The intercoolers were mostly painted, a high temp 'aluminum-colored' spray paint,
The SUPERCHARGED script on them was polished afterwards.
I taped off the intercooler after they been painted, boxing the SUPERCHARGED letters in with painters tape, this is mostly so if your hand slips in the next few sanding steps, you don't damage the freshly painted finish.
I then wet-sanded the SUPERCHARGED letters, first with 400 grit, then 800, 1000, up to 2,000 grit wet/dry 3M sandpaper,
At this point, the letter are semi-polished, and I follow up with a buffing wheel, high speed tool, and a metal polish specifically for aluminum.
You can polish the whole intercooler(s) to a mirror finish, although that would probably require taking them off to do a really good job of it.
The process is the same regardless,
You would probably have to start with 220 grit dry sandpaper, to first cut down the 'texture' present on cast aluminum,
Then proceed to wet sanding in stages, moving up to 400 wet, 600 wet, and so on, up to 1,000-2,000grit wet.
Once uniformly sanded with high-grit wet paper, you can proceed to the buffing stage to give it a brilliant shine. You will need a buffing wheel, mounted either to a high speed tool, or a bench mounted grinder, along with an aluminum/metal polishing compound.
If you google for terms "how to polish aluminum" or "how to polish cast aluminum" you will find plenty of info on how to tackle the job.
It is quite labor intensive, which is why I opted to paint most of the aluminum under the hood of the jag, and polish the SUPERCHARGED, and leave it at that.
My other car on the other hand, well, polished nearly everything aluminum under the hood to a mirror finish... a lot of work...

Wow, thanks. Its a lot of work but it looks great. I bought this car as a hobby and this is definitely on the list!
