One of mine has a very slight bend on the inner lip (not enough to cause a vibration or a worry), although I don't remember hitting anything that could have caused it. Not too pleased with the quality; hope you don't have to wait 6 months for that 1 wheel!

I was told 2-4 weeks for a new wheel to be built and shipped, probably closer to 4-8 weeks knowing forgestar... Although I'm ordering it unpainted....

With that said, there is a local shop that does wheel repair, and has done many forgestars already, and they've advised me they can do a tip top repair of this lip with a fast turn around...

I'll probably take them up on the offer and hold up on the new rim from forgestar...

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the quality of my F14's, i've driven a decent amount on them, and they've taken a few impacts and such from our shoddy roads... wasn't until Sunday, when I hit this godzilla sized pothole that finally tested the F14's to their limit...

Came out okay, slight bend is better than it having cracked or shattered, and sort of prefer the wheel to give way before something in the suspension eats all the impact...

That sucks:/ Ive hit some pretty rough bumps on my F14s also but thankfully they are still good. I did order 2 extra and it was about 4 weeks til I got em. Many people(myself included) have a problem with Forgestar not matching the color to the original wheel, or mix matched sets.

I've been happy with my Forgestars as well also. Have had them a few years and no problems. I do freak a out about bending them though as I hear their popularity has grown since I ordered mine and the turnaround period for new wheels is months long...

So, small update on the one damage forgestar rim... Found a local shop to repair it, should have it back this week.

I have to refinish the paint on the repaired rim, so I decided to change the look around for this year and going to strip all the paint, and polish them to a chrome finish...

Will post pics when completed!

I read his post to say they will be bare but polished to a shiny, chrome like finish (i.e., I do not believe he is chrome plating them)

Updated pics finally... as stated before, I stripped the paint off my Forgestar F14's. and went through a long and tedious process of having polished them to a chrome-like finish.

Getting a lot more attention and comments now too... can't believe its made such a difference lol...

So very impressive, GT42R. I winced when I saw that damaged wheel but, despite all sayings to the contrary, you have indeed made a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

So... developed a bit of an exhaust leak around the downpipe... Going in next week to have my exhaust updated a bit...

Thinking I am going to delete the cats, and replace them with (small) resonators if possible. Then head back to the dyno to see what power gains, if any, the cat delete may provided...

I am also considering upgrading the downpipe-to-stock-resonator section of piping from 2.5", to 3"...

Scheduled to go in mid-next-week, so I will keep everyone posted...

Looking nice! The chrome wheels definitely made added a unique look to the car.

So I updated the STR's exhaust a few months ago... new 2.5" stainless from the header/exhaust manifold back. Deleted the cats altogether this time around (from high flows before), and replaced them with these catalytic-in-appearance, stainless 2.5" resonators from vibrant.

From there, more 2.5" stainless piping, with an H-pipe as you see there, followed by the factory resonator box, and then mina-axle-back exhaust...

Video clip for the sound coming soon...
