My STR Photos
Here are a couple of pics of my 03 STR. The shift knob is home made and this is how I installed my IPod and XM radio. I also made the holder for the XM. The car is Midnight Metallic (dark gray).

Thanks,
It does look tastey doesn't it? I have several different ones in different kinds of wood (walnut, Oak) and slightly different shapes.
That one is maple. I think it looks more stylish than the factory R knob.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. I will do that. I do like the personalization that the one of a kind home made wood knob gives. I always thought that the wood shift knobs looked nice.
A few more shots.

Thank's,
No It's a plastic plug that slips into the cup holder with the stick on XM bracket on top. The wires go straight into the counsol outlet for power and the antenna is in the rear window. I try to never permanently mount anything, That way it is easily removed with no lasting scars.

The IPOD is up front by the ashtray and I use an ITrip FM transmitter that charges and plays the IPod thru the stereo. The cord and transmitter are just in the ashtray behind the IPod so I can unplug it anytime and take it with me. I have a rubber case on it so it stays put!

You should look into the hardwire kit offered by Jaguar for the Ipod.
