Unhappy Navigation Inop

Okay so my navigation hasn't been able to get a signal for a long time. (I get the picture of a satellite with a no symbol in the top left corner of the screen..) I tried changing the window tint from metallic to ceramic. Then I bought a new antenna and installed it under the rear deck (Dealer's Diagnosis). I have the 08-09 NavTeq disc and all of my firmware is up to date. Nothing was modified or serviced prior to this starting. It just can't pick up any satellites..

What could it be? Is there some connector that's prone to breaking or coming apart? Could the antenna cable be frayed or cut somewhere along the bottom of the car?

I tried doing a search, but all I could come up with is some guy who had his fuel pumps replace and it took out his service..

Any and all ideas/insight welcome...

Thanks,
Eric
