I'm based in Ilford Essex UK but also spend time in town and also west of London in Slough/Bracknell vicinity.

My S-type sport 110k mile 3.0 auto needs some work on oil gasgets and also needs the ECM reflashed (though I can get that done in a dealer if needed). I have the dreaded 'lurch' problem too and have since new but they never believed me and I couldn't describe it as well as others have on other posts.

I don't want to go to 'a very local dealer' that I bought the car from 6 years ago because they are in chaos due to consolidation of their service centers. The quality of customer service is really bad, I just had a new coolant tank and system put in there and dread the thought of going back there and paying over the odds for it too.
