"Homelink" stopped working?
So my first minor problem with the car... not a hugh problem, maybe not even a problem with the car ? Anyhow, my homelink stopped working at range... then needed to be right next to the garage door and the button pressed several times... then just stopped working all together. Is there a battery in there I need to replace, or is it hotwired to the cars power system? I'm using the remote that came with the opener atm, but it would be nice to put that back in my motorcycle bag and go back to using the cars built in buttons. Any ideas?

Well all I had to do was keep reading the instructions. I was following the instructions for older, no rolling codes garage door operners. Once I read the following page in the intruction manual, took a whole 10 seconds to fix the problem. Not sure why it quite working in the first place, but an easy fix.

One of the other transmitters might have a battery going dead. That messed up one of my Homelink settings once when the opener went into some rolling code security mode or some b.s.
Ended up just having to re-train the Homelink by pressing the train button on the opener motor then scrambling into the car and holding the Homelink button.
Glad you got it worked out!
