Default No heater fans

Hi all,

New to the forum and have had done some searching and just want some confirmation on my understanding please.

The heater blower on my Dad's 2004 V6 S Type is not currently working.

It looks like early cars have a replaceable resistor pack but it seems the later cars blower speed is controlled by the Climate control module in the dash, is this correct? (it's a non sat nav car)

I noticed the DCC valve was leaking so that is being replaced today, am I right in assuming that the leaky dccv valve has probably shorted and fried the control module?

The control unit still lights up and looks like it is functioning, there are just no working fans. When the ignition is switched on you can still here the flaps adjusting although not for as long as before.

Am I right in thinking it's likely that the CCM needs repairing?
