Unhappy No more 05 STR.

It is with a heavy heart that I post this. On Friday night I drove to whitefish, MT and traded in my beloved 05 STR on a very nice 06 Volvo V70 R in sonic blue to replace my 04 that was killed.

With only 59,xxx mi on it there are 110,000 less miles than my previous V70r had. I wanted needed another car that doesn't suck in the snow, and it made sense to buy another volovo to move all my parts over to.

I am just thinning out the car heard after this last accident. I just can't keep up with a bunch of cars.

I will be selling off all my left over STR parts including my spare motor set, and my aftermarket performance parts.

Hmm... Sorry to hear the STR has left the fold, although the V70R is a sweet ride in itself, I was cross shopping V70R's and S60R's when I bought my STR as well,

Good luck with everything in the future, hope to see you around the forums still, and look forward to seeing what STR goodies you post up for sale too!

You can't go wrong with a V70R. I think there are companies that make chips for them, perhaps IPD (I used to read about S60Rs and breifly had a free S80 for a few months after my CLK430 was wrecked).

Good luck to you Spinall 4, the V70R is a solid ride. It's not like you are taking a step backwards and buying a B'mer!!
I too am interested in any STR goodies you have laying around.

Sorry GT42R, I'm a rookie and responded to your post rather than Spinall 4's. Nice STR, what spring set up are you using??

Spinall4, you don't have to entirely go. Post sale of the 05 STR, please hang around and continue sharing our experiences.

That is so funny, my car had a bunch of IPD parts on it. It didn't have a tune yet as I wanted to get my exhaust, down pipe, ect all on.

I'm working on putting my parts up for sale in the classifieds right now.

I have a euro toyz 1.5 lb pully, puller, and k&n up in the classifieds. I also have a whole spare long block that I bought that mc jaguar is coming to look at tonight.

I also have a spare eaton m112, manifolds, wiring harness, 8 coils, injectors, ect. And a box of new oem parts I bought to fix my leaking fuel tank seal. It takes time for my posts to be approved, but more should be up soon.

That's funny because I also have a spare M112! I thought I was the only one.
