I'm looking at a Throttle position sensor made by OES genuine and had to cancel my order because it was made for 4.0 l v8. I'm using the v6 3.0 l and they look the same and site gave me an ok, so I need to get back on the road, I feel frustrated .

Hmm... that's what I'm planning to do switching brands. Don't know if every brand applies like that Denso, it was 2002.5 and onwards though which is different then the 99-2002. I was mad because the customer rep just read what was on their computer before I bought it. I didn't get a chance to try it out and report it. It looks the same though and I'll post my pic later on.

 

Sorry the link I gave you was for later model , it will be no good ! Just get one of eBay you could probly widen your search to an early X-type component ! I'd say that changing to a later senser will be trouble ,

Thanks Man!!! but that's what really bugs me are those 7 pins (unless it's false advertising ?) I'm a audio guy at heart and the looking at wiring diagram is one of the pins for the V8 mean extra horsepower IDC I give up the prior company was out of stock.

I hope someone else can chime in for us, because its brand new out of the box

 

it says it fits just give it a go . its not your fault if they are rong . does your plug fit ?
