Original Jaguar part "gas cap" vs. cap from Autozone type of stores?
Gas caps.... real Jaguar gas cap vs. gas cap from the local parts store (autozone, Orielly. etc) ?

Should I buy my gas cap from the Jaguar dealer or is a gas cap from a local part store acceptable?

Why risk a mismatch or premature failure from possibly inferior aftermarket product? If you're nearest Jag dealership is too far away, buy it from one of the online Jag dealerships who will ship it to your door.
