P0400 EGR Flow error

P0400 EGR Flow error
I have just finished repairing a Tyre R 4.2 and she is running fine except for every day or 2 it throws a P0400 error.
I am confident that there are no air leaks because I changed all the metal gaskets and the supercharger dusts when I rebuilt it (I didn't change the thick rubber gaskets on the inlet elbow or the Super Charger outlet).
Other than an expensive EGR valve are there any other possibilities or am I just going to have to abuse my credit card further a buy one?
Cheers all.

Well it's a flow error so check that the EGR is operating and then check the EGR tube from the valve to the exhaust manifold. Could be blocked with carbon.
But we are seeing more STR's needing an EGR valve. Mainly when the hose under the super charger fails. The EGR is hard to remove and the bolts get damaged.
Have you put a vacuum gauge on the car?
