P1788 Transmission problem

Hello everybody,I am a new member and i am experiencing problems with my s type 2000 transmission.
the problems code is P1788 the fault description is

ressure control solenoid2 circuit high voltage.
Monitoring conditions:KOEO-page3 KOER-PAGE 3 or comprehensive component monitor transmission drive cycle-page8
PCM Default:normal shift patternABS/TCCM,DSCCM Default:traction control inhibited(harsh shifts)
possible causes

ressure control solenoid 2 drive circuit:short circuit to B+V ;open circuit pressure control solenoid 2 failure,transmission mechanical failure(othr DTCs LOGGED)

Good morning,my car's first registration date is 12/2001.Do I have a warranty?
do you know how much do they charge for a valve body?
(All my owner's manuals are in German! where can i find in greek or english?)

for a rebuilt Jaguar 5R55NJ for 3.0 they asked me for 1395 USD!
and for a valve body 259USD.All prices i got from usa,in jaguar greece they do not even sell them to me,they asked me to change my whole transmission.

ok everyone i solved the problem by changing solenoid cost 411 euro,1 gasget cost 30 euro,1 filter cost 60 euro and aft oil cost 112 euro.for labour i payed200 euro!

can u describe the symptoms of your 2000 s type when before u changed the solenoid? my mothers 2000 is doing some funny things and i think the problems are coming from the tranny.....

ok, changing between gears gave you a harsh feelingand sometimes a sound of knocking.It did not change the gears smoothly and quietly as it does it now.Good luck

i went to a jaguar service i payed 30 euros for a test of the engine and they gave me the results,on the test results was mentioned the specific solenoid which had the problem
