P244b restricted performance
HI , I would be very grateful if anyone could help me get my Jag back on the road , it’s a 2007 s type 2.7 diesel
It comes up restricted performance with 2 warning lights and loss of power
The local garage I use who are really friendly and helpful are at a loss as to the cause
Code p244b dpf pressure too high bank 1
They have mini vac tested the dpf pipes and pressure sensor , checked the wiring harness multi plugs , carried out dpf re generation , clear codes , road test , fault returns, have had the dpf cleaned out with specified cleaning solution, tried a new dpf sensor , all voltages within spec , after reset and codes cleared the dpf pressure is reading 1 KPA , after Idiling for a few minutes it increases to 3.5 KPA , too high , with a reading of 20g of soot
The wiring diagram seems to show that it goes via egr A before going to the ecu
The car has done 86000 miles and has full history and is in superb condition, with no other issues at all , it only gets used once a week but normally has a motorway run every time at speed , the journey it had prior to the fault was a 3 hour run on the motorway
I would be grateful for any help from any of you knowledgeable guys
Thanks in advance
