My 03 s type started beeping when I removed the key, and I discovered that the EPB wasn't engaging. I tried the reset procedure and now it's giving me the "parking brake fault." I could hear the EPB motor and it sounds like the gear or whatever engages the cable is slipping or stripped. Is there anyway to repair this, is it a seperate component from the motor, or will I have to replace the entire EPB motor?
