2005 S-type R
Noticed recently that my parking lights are acting funny. Normally I leave the light setting on auto and the lights have always gone off when I turn the car off. Over the past few weeks the lights still go off, but when I return to the car the parking lights are sometimes on. Luckily they haven't drained the battery as the car still cranks every time but I'm afraid that it is killing the battery. Any suggestions other than manually turning the lights off everytime?

 

Is it just the parking lights?

I would have thought all the lights would be on?

It is just the parking lights, the headlights are off. Just the parking lights (the side markers and the little light above the headlight as well as part of the rear tail lights).
