Default Passenger Lock catcher solenoid

Hi I am the owner of a Jaguar S-type 1999 V6 and I have a problem I need to solve.
The rear left passenger door does not close/open by the transmitter alarm button from the remote control. All the other three latches respond.
Internally the security latch over the door opener does not respond from the transmitter even if I can manually do it.
So I think there is no mechanical failure, but think electrical one.
So when I need to close the car I need to secure it internally and than close the door.
When I need to enter, I have to open the door from front door one and than open it.

Does a relay, a fuse or someting else exist that is broken (or a wire) or do I need to dismantel the door? Do you think the problem is inside the catch in the door or is it somewhere else?

Best regards and thanks from italy

Steff

Sorry paisano, I think you're going to have to remove the door panel and start probing. I'm not sure how the latch works but presume that there is a solonoid in there and it may be malfunctioning. Good luck.
