Passenger Side Mirror

My passenger side mirror will go every direction from the controls except down. Any suggestions?

Does the driver mirror go down?

If so it is likely the mirror motor.

Yes, the driver side mirror works fine. If it is the motor how easy is it to replace? Is the work expensive?

You pull the glass out of the mirror housing. Push it left into the housing, then pull on the right side. It will eventually pop off. Then you will see the mirror motor. 3 torx bolts holding it in. Replace it and put glass back in. Start with right side, then clip in the left. Job done.

This is not definitive that motor is your problem....but likely based on your description.
