Default problem with my Jaguar S type not idling and smoking when started

2003 v6 jaguar S type 150,000 miles. runs rough have replaced valve cover gaskets on driver side. also have replaced coil packs and sparks still have smoke coming from driver side and idling rough large amount of oil there used method to clean sparks and burn the oil out. any advice?

As I age, I've noticed my mind reading skills aren't what they used to be. We will need some more details, please.

1) Are you saying you had oil collect in the spark plug wells?

2) Replaced "sparks"? Do you mean spark plugs? This term was mentioned twice.

3) Where is the exact source of the smoke? The spark plug area? Leaking from the outer edge of the valve cover onto the exhaust manifold? If the airflow from the radiator fan is making it hard to isolate the source, watch the engine immediately after shutdown when the fan is off.

4) If oil had collected in the spark plug wells, how did you clean it? This happened to my car. After replacing the gasket, I first sopped up most of the leakage with some dry rags, and then finished up with electronic cleaner and more clean rags. I also cleaned the coils tips with electronic cleaner, including inside where the spark plug fits. I didn't bother cleaning the spark plugs, simply replacing them.
