Hi all,

I will most probably be buying a 2005 S-type VDP with 19,000 miles (one owner, great condition, clean history). I had a question about the factory warranty: I have heard that the periodic maintenance/service is covered under the factory warranty for up to 50,000miles. Is this true? If so, are there any other expenses, other than brakes and tires, that I should be aware of as soon as I purchase the vehicle?

I have always wanted a Jag and can't wait to buy this S-type! So I am making sure I have do all my research/homework.

For those of you wondering, it is a Black on Black 2005 S-type VDP w/ Navigation.

Also, if any of you can give me any suggestions or tips as to what to look out for or check I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

 

Well, I did a little research online and did find that Scheduled Maintenance is indeed free up to 50,000miles...so that's good.

I am still a bit nervous, after all this will be my first Jaguar.

How is the Bluetooth interface for the vehicle...does anyone have any experience with it? And is the navigation system any good? Is it on-par with those used in Lexus or Acura?
