Well, got mine on...I took a quick video during WOT with the HERO2, but I'm not sure how the video will sound with the wind...It will be a few days until I get that going...

With the stock box, I tried everything to get it on without removing the airbox and I just couldn't get it to work...

If I wasn't getting eaten alive by bugs, I would of videoed my install method...

Here's my tips:

NOTE, install the clamps but do not tighten!
Attach the coupler to the S/C side and the elbow to the coupler...
Remove the airbox lid or if you prefer the entire box...(bolts are 10mm)
Rotate the elbow upward like 30-45 degrees above horizontal...
Install the coupler onto the lid/airbox outlet...
Push the coupler attached to the lid onto the elbow...
Rotate the elbow down into place...
Install the lid/airbox bolts...
Tighten all clamps...

How's it sound? It's louder, you're not going to break any db meters...For the record, it's possible I may trade in my car and will sell this intake...

Yeah that seems to be about the going rate. I paid per hour $100 when I shot the video.

If I get awarded this Tampa transfer, if the numbers work, I would trade for a crew cab truck and buy a dirtbike...

I believe it's AJ8-8045. I just called the jag dealer that I've had my order on for this part for about a month and they said that "jag is having supplier issues". I guess they're going to a new company to manufacture the part. The part design has been submitted to Jag and now Jag needs to approve the design. My guy said that the part being available is at a minimum a month away if not 3.

guys, the polished tubes are spoken for if you haven't already pm'd me. I have a just a few of the non-polished. The t bolts should be here today, so I can resume shipping. PM from here on out if you're interested in one. Thanks!

Here's a picture of the polished one on my car. I wish I would have gotten the intercooler polished while I had them undone getting the supercharger re-geared.

I've tried twice to get my GoPro Hero2 video working (just recently got it) and everytime I publish it, using window live, it fails saying it may be corrupted...I looked up the windows live error code and in geek forums eveyone said window live sucks and to spend $100 on good video editing software...Anyone know of a good FREE video editing software?

Peace of cake install when done while watching your install YouTube videos. Not rocket science. My car and my ears do enjoy. Today car gets dropped off for smaller pulley and exhaust work, then its off to dyno the whole set up

You can upload it to YouTube, and then edit it within the browser. It is very basic, but gets the job done.

LOL. There ya go... Does she boogie or what? All mods considered, does she feel like 50+ more horses and torque? Way more blower whine than exhaust. I need a quieter muffler than the Borlas. Anyone have an idea for a decent (non straight through) rear box? Good job Bacardi.

It's real hard to judge; my baseline (when OEM) had a 70% driver side clogged cat (passenger I think was like 40% clogged) most likely from day one of when I took ownership...I noticed a big increase with the pulley but even more when I replaced the cats which happened after the pulley...I'm in super humid 70f-100f weather for most likely until mid fall so again I'm a terrible example...lol

Thanks for the video! Sounds great Bacardi. But you've got me thinking about my cats now. Just clicking over 51k now...

My exhaust shop say most shops (around here) offer free inspections...It requires them drilling a hole and putting a pressure gauge on it...Might be worth googling local shops and doing a "blitz" of calling local shops and asking if they do free inspections...

When they get close to clogging, they really heat up and seize the manifold studs...Requires a lot of heat to get it off...

Hey, just out of curiosity, are any of you guys resetting the ecm when you add the tube so that the car relearns with the mod? I was surprised how lean mine was on the dyno, but that could have been because of the air foil previously hindering flow to the engine.

hi guys. The last of the delayed parts are shipping out today (finally) thanks to an error by the company that sold me the t bolts. They took a journey from So Cal to Nor Cal and then back from the sender to me. Anyhow, they're all being sent usps priority mail so they should be there shortly.

Also, all future orders that I haven't already received payment on already will cost as follows:
-with fittings for the stock airbox $220 unpolished
-with 3" coupler for aftermarket type setup $210

The 3 to 3.25" coupler is just over $10 more than the 3" straight which is the reason for the additional cost. The t bolts cost the same.

All of the polished ones are spoken for at this point so you'll have to find someone local to you if you'd like yours to be polished. They do look really, really nice polished with a mirror finish so in my opinion, the extra work is definately worth it. BTW, I'm holding a polished one for you David.
