2003 Jaguar S-Type 4.2l v8. Put tires and new tire rods back on this morning in preparation for the tow company to come and get the car and take to my local shop here in Knoxville TN. Tow cost $64 dollars not bad. one and 1/2 hr later shop called rack and pinion hook up to steering column done cost $75.36. Not bad at all. Have alignment set up for A.M. It sure needs one tostraiten up steering wheel. Mechanic said it took two of them to get it done.After a lot of laughter, when all is said and done i've used this shop since i move here 7 years ago from Oregon they always take great care of me. As an after note Local Jaguar shop quoted me $380 to do the same job. thanks for watching. Planning a road trip in Oct to 40th class reunion in Conn.
