Hi guys. Is there a trick to re-installing the plastic door handle surround without snapping it into a million pieces? I've repaired my driver side one that was snapped in 3 places, and reinforced the back with some wire and gorilla glue. Now the task is to fit it back to the door panel in one piece. Hoping there's a trick that I haven't tried yet?

 

Pull the lever all the way out, slide the bezel over the lever and into the front of the panel, then snap the rear edge into the panel. I've never had one break.

 

Thanks mate. Got it on eventually. It was already broken, as is the passenger side one, but that repair seems to be holding. Wouldn't want to do that too many times.
