Default Rear Anti-Roll Bar Links Quality....

I replaced both factory rear anti-roll bar links in my 2005 S-Type 3.0 in late October 2015 due to all four of their small internal ball joints being shot after 92,000 miles. I sourced my replacements from Welsh Enterprises for about $25 each. At less than 13,000 miles later, the small internal ball joint casings had already stressed and cracked....

I decided to try a different source this time and ordered my next set of rear links from SNG Barratt Group last week. Utilizing my forum discount, they were also about $25 each. But the SNG Barratt version is sturdier and more robust, looks exactly like the factory Lemforder components (they may indeed be made by Lemforder), and I expect to get far more mileage out of them than the Welsh version provided. I installed them yesterday morning....

Welsh does most replacement components quite well (their XK8 poly upper shock mount kits are one example). But the 2015 version of their S-Type rear anti-roll bar links turned out to be lousy. I believe we will all get much better results from the SNG Barratt version. Time will tell....
