Rear Bumper Removal for Camera install?
I'm adding a rear view camera to my 2004 S-type and want a factory look. By the looks of it, I'll have to remove the rear bumper to feed the wiring into the car.
First, does this sound correct? And second, how do I remove the rear bumper?
Thanks very much
Ron

I have seen cameras that will fit in or near the boot release button
If you want to remove bumper there are 10mm bolts in the boot itself approx 10 of them
You need to remove the trim and the DVD and anything else in the way to gain access then the Torx bolts near the rear tyres

The camera that I purchased fits in the bumper like the parking aid sensors. If I wire the camera correctly, my navigation system will automatically switch to the camera when I put the car in reverse.
Thanks for your help with the bolt locations.
