Hi peeps a question and you prob won't beleive it lol I took down my rear subframe welded it and replaced upper and lower wishbones new discs and pads and tie rods and ime baffled where the rear handbrake cables get attached before the calipers anyone got a diagram of where the cables get fed through I've put them through two holes at top of subframe and that's it lol ta much
I’ve just replaced Pads & Discs (Rotors) on my 2003, 4.2 S Type, as its still on axle stands I took a couple of pictures, hope it’s of help?
Body Fixing Reinforcement hose over cable Caliper fixing The handbrake cable is attached to the body as seen in the first photo and not fixed again until the calliper, the cable can rub against the top of the stabiliser drop link and so has a reinforcement hose (2nd photo) over the cable also the drop link has a plastic clip fitted to the top to ease wear, incidentally mine are worn (white clip in photo) so I’ve got them on back order with David Manners, part numbers RH C2C2126, LH C2C12162.
