I have a rear sunscreen on my 2008 S-Type SE, that has started acting quite weirdly of late. It goes up and down on it's own, sometimes partially up then down and several times in succession - sort of like it's possessed. My thought is that maybe the switch is shorting but I haven't pulled it apart as of yet. Anybody ever have this happen???

 

The rear sunscreen was an expensive and quite rare option on the S-type.
They are few and far between, so perhaps the chances of finding another with the same fault may be difficult.

My 05 is equipped with one. Unfortunately, it broke at the top hinge I only wish I could use it. Good luck with your search for answers.
