I have a jag S type V8 year 2003. I have to recharge the air conditioning system. Is there anyone who can give me help in how to do this. I can take pix if this will help. What type of refrigerant do I obtain. I suspect it's 124 as I live in So Cal and freon was banned prior to this model year, yes?

Can I simply get a can of refrigerant and recharge the system. Are there any tools that I need or will the can suffice?

Sorry I'm so ignorant but I've never had this issue so I need help please.
