Default replace water pump s-type

1st watched alot of videos on utube, second purchased new water pump from rock auto for my 2003 4.2lL v8 s-type. Ifirst removed cowling holding down air intake to air box. Removed put aside with fasteners. Disconnected Map sensor. Loosened clamps holding hose to air box and throttle body. and set aside. Removed air box set aside. Drained coolant from radiator. Peacock on bottom of radiator drivers side (left side) for our brothers on the other side of the pond. Disconnected upper radiator hoses to to help with access. Loosened 3 bolts holding belt pulley on water pump. Took 3/8 drive socket and 2ft bar on tension pulley and removed belt. then removed pulley from water pump. Loosened all 5 bolts holding, removed and giggled water pump and removed. O ring had failed but upgrade to a water pump with metal impellers. Cleaned mounting area with scotch bright pad and completely dried area. Installed new water pump, lubricated mating surfaces with a dab of petrolium jelly. Tightened bolts on water pump to 21ft lbs of torque in star tightening. reassembled everything in reverse order topped up coolant and ran car up to temp. added more coolant and ran heat on full. No leaks thanks
