Default Replacement Muffler, Cat , 4.2V8

Hi, car is in beaten condition, one of the mufflers definitely need replacing and one cat as well might be bad.
Anyone have any experience with replacing exhaust parts? Any good aftermarket? I dont need anything fancy, just have it together.
Im based in europe.
Thanks

I fitted Adamesh rear boxes on my STR as they were cheaper than the Jaguar ones.
However that was 5 years ago when they were about £350, they are £500 now!!

You need to have a look on e-bay and see what is available now.
There are more options for your NA 4.2 compaired to an STR. You should be able to get steel rear boxes for about £150 the pair.

With the cat second hand may be the only cost effective option.

Just recently replaced a cat on my buddies '05, 3.0 S Type. Part sourced from Rock Auto here state side. Pretty straight forward replacement. We did need an exhaust pipe expander for the rear part of exhaust pipe.
