Rick, How's Your Castrol ATF Performing?
Rick,
You're now a couple of months post-ATF change to the Castrol Multi-Import product, correct?
When you get a chance, please give us an update on how Joyce's S-Type is performing now. I assume the new sleeve O-ring has held tight and the leak issue was resolved. Did you ever return to Fast Eddies's to pull the drain plug again and check the new fluid level to ensure that it is correct? How many miles have you put on the new fluid?

Hello John and all, reporting back on the Castrol Multi Import ATF. So far so good, Joyce has only put on a hundred or so miles mainly back roads. She has not reported any issues so as is well. I did drive it last week and shifted just fine, I drove it up to 50 mph for about a 3 mile round trip.
The sleeve is doing its job, no leaks from either the pan or the sleeve. I did take it back to Fast Eddies, let it sit overnight and rechecked the fluid level in the AM. Perfect so far!! I am happy with our decision on the Castrol especially in our case.
I still say if anyone has the leaking sleeve, this is a DIY job!
