Are you guys doing OK now that Hurricane Earl is making its way up the coast? Hopefully nothing more than some wind and rain.

In Jacksonville, NC we barely got anything. I think we got lucky since it kinda just grazed the coast. I'm about an hour and a half from the Outer Banks and I hear they didnt get hit too bad either. A couple guys I work with live on Emerald Isle and said there was just some wind and rain but nothing too damaging. Said the waves were pretty wicked looking though.

I worked my *** off doing my annual lawn aeration and seeding yesterday hoping that Hurricane Earl would send some good rains our way late yesterday afternoon and last night....

Not even so much as a drizzle showed up. I'm pissed (and my left knee is screaming like a little girl)....

 

I'm right on the coast and it didnt even so much as thunder. Just got a normal rain. It will flood my yard if we get a good drizzle and it didnt even do that. I'm pissed cause I was gonna have an extra day but they made us come in today cause it wasnt bad enough.

Glad to hear everything is all right. If you really wanted rain, you should have washed and waxed your cars and truck. Works every time for me.

Hey Mike, sorry I was away at Myrtle Beach during Earl. I know everyone was concerned but not even a tidal surge there. It was a "perfect storm".

I was thinking of Jon and vance while we were there though whilest sipping my margarita(s)!

Glad to hear you're OK. Magaritas eh. You went uptown on us. I tempted the gods by washing and waxing the Jag over the weekend. My hands are still vibrating due to the random orbital buffer.
