rough ride

Hi
I just bought a 2005 s with the sport pkg it rides like the R model I would like to change it to the base modle springs and shocks is that possiable . i drove the car for a run but did not have any rough roads I think it rides hard now . I like the plush ride .thanks

If possible, I am sure there is someone near you who would love to do a swap-out. That is probably one of the biggest after-purchase desires of the 3.0 owners is to have a sport suspension and all of the trimmings.

Better fuel economy and great handling, what's not to like?

Yo_Odie, you can swap in base springs and shocks. If you have the CATS struts and the ride is hard, this may indicate an issue with the CATS module, etc. I wish to place the CATS struts back into my STR. She now has Bilstiens (base shocks).

Thanks for the replys the car is all stock and it just rides like the R hard but as you state it does handle verry well and not sure the base modle handles as well but it rides much better .. will have it all checked out and go frome there thanks .
