Thanks for the update! Glad to hear you got the problem tamed.

Can you please elaborate where you found the vacuum leaks? For the next guy with a similar problem, it would be helpful to suggest checking those same locations.

There were three vacuum leaks: intake manifold at the rear; small pipe that connects into the main intake hose toward the front of engine bay; and where the main intake hose connects onto intake manifold after the MAF sensor. The final one seemed to be the worst - every time the easy start spray hit that, the fuel trims took a massive dive! Weird thing was that the connection actually didn't seem particularly loose, but I think the jubilee clip was just a bit old and obviously wasn't doing enough. New big jubilee clip nice and tight did the job.
