S type 4.0 v8 non start

just aquired an s type 4.0 v8 whuch was insurance repossesion an non starter,i noticed that the 2 ignition keys were not jag keys and i suspect they have been cut ,i dont know how cos there no original key .engine does turn over but not firing,does centre led have something to do with immobilizer any sdvice apreciated

its probobly immoblised. if memeory serves me right, it turns over if programmed, but if immobilized it turns over but wont fire as the ecu doesnt turn on. Youll need to take it to the dealer and have the immobilization shut off

central locking not working on door lock either also lecky windows stuck do u thint this related ?

Does the LED on the dash flash when you try to start the car? A flashing light means security fault. The light will flash for 30 seconds? and then it will flash trouble codes after the initial warning flash. Count the code flashes and repost.
