Hello guys, i'm new here. I love UK cars and my current car is Rover 75:

Now i want something more serious, and found Jaguar S-type 4.2 with low mileage (75k km) but after crash. Can anybody help with decision if i should buy that car and if there can be serious hidden damage? Many thanks!

Are you expert at repairing cars? That one looks hard and expensive.

Looks like it needs bumper, bonnet, front grille, drivers airbag, headlamp unit (possibly both if the mounting clips are broken)

Drivers wing will probably repair, passenger wing has moved back into the door so both may need replacing.

If there is no damage to the chassis legs, the car could be put back on the road with replacement panels (second hand and already painted will save a fortune)

I guess it depends on how cheap you can buy it compared to an undamaged one ?

Remember whatever you budget to get it back on the road will never be enough !

This is the first rule of Jaguar !

Yes. Seems better idea is undamaged Jag. I can get that S type for 4800 eur. Will search for good S or X (4wd).
