Default S type 4.2 V8 2004

I hope someone can help me i have 3 niggleing faults on My S type 4.2 V8 2004 and although they do not interfere with the general running of the car they need to work because they are there.1)A/C i had it regassed but still wont work i heard someone mention something about flaps behind the dashboard.? 2)The rear parking alarm sort of works but instead of going beep beep beep gong faster as you approach an object it just has one continuous beeeeeep then stops?3)My offside door mirror (passenger side) has stopped working electrically but can be adjusted manually, The drivers side mirror works fine. Please any ideas will be most welcome.Thanks.

Did you check the fuses and loom connections?

Use the search function as the heater issues have been discussed many times on several threads.

Specifically, pay attention to the simple tests in post #2. It's possible the AC side of the system is working properly, but the heat is stuck on.

The "flaps" behind the dashboard? Do you mean the doors that direct airflow to the different outlets? They don't control the heating or cooling, only where the airflow is routed. Those doors are fairly reliable. To test them, turn on the engine and manually select the fan to high speed. Play with buttons for the defrost, vent, floor, etc., and see if the airflow responds accordingly.
