Default S type abs traction problem ?

Had ABS and TRACTION lights on dash Put diagnostic on and said front left speed sensor fault Replaced the sensor but still got lights on Does it need to have fault codes cleared or do they clear there self.Thought they self cleared but hoping now im wrong Thanx

After fixing it go ahead and clear the codes and drive it for a cycle to see if it kicks off another or the same. Driving till clear can take many cycles or not happen at all, At least that's what I think I have learned on here. After repair clear it.

Will try clearing them Just that i only got OBD11 and doesnt clear ABS codes Always thought they cleared there self But not sure now But cheers Tony

I used a icarsoft jaguar/land rover scanner to clear the traction /ABS
code caused buy faulty weel speed senser on an 03 xkr .
It would not clear itself! Scanner cleared it fine!
