Hi all I have 3.0 petrol s type 2002 I have this issue a battery drain problem had car for six weeks it has not done this before have looked at posts on this site some saying change radio or wipers our key flap and few more things to check for now I just disconnect battery lead till a get spare battery to keep in boot be good to hear if come up with more idea's mike

 

Battery drain issues are not the easiest to diagnose. Check to see if your radio stays on after shutting off the ignition. That used to occur occasionally, indicating a bad ignition switch (electrical portion).

Not sure of your technical abilities, but here are some bulletins for your vehicle that may help.
