I just thought, that's probably not something many people have seen before...
There are - not surprisingly - stretched limo versions of Jaguars out there, incl. S-Type Limos and there is even a STR limo for hire on hourly basis in Bulgaria.
That is already odd enough, but think, this one trumps them in regards of "WTF"-effect, even though I would not want to own it (unless I were to get it very cheap...
I found them there: https://limoforsale.com/limos-for-sa...limo-9102.html
Karl, I did not post the interior pictures on purpose - the exterior was bad enough...
and @ S-Type Owner: I looked up the pix of the John Lennon Rolls... Looks like there are still ways to make that S-Type above look worse and to match the exterior to the interior...
But respraying it in HGZ Jaguar racing green metallic would definitely improve the "situation"...
Btw.: I like the "hanging lanterns of Babylon" on the 4 corners - it has a touch of Tin Lizzy - or better: This one:

Actually, the side view of the elevated roof line reminded me of a Gypsy Wagon, or Romani Vardo. Lennon's Rolls re-paint was supposed to be a Romani style motif; it was originally black. The Tokyo "Love Hotel" comparison stands...
A stretched Jaguar S-Type limo and even an STR limo for hire in Bulgaria? That's definitely not something you see every day. It must be a real head-turner on the streets.

I remember when I was younger, I used to see these kinds of unique limos in movies and TV shows, but I never thought they actually existed in real life. It's fascinating how people can transform regular cars into these extravagant, eye-catching vehicles. If you're into unique limos, you might want to check out Limo LA. They seem to have some interesting options that could match the "WTF" effect you're looking for.
How often do you see one of those cruising around, right? As for practicality, well, I guess it depends on your perspective. Sure, it might not be the most sensible choice for everyday use, but imagine the statement it makes pulling up to a special event or even just cruising down Ocean Drive.
As I can see this thread - which I started - still attracts interest. I just asked my wife, if she still remembers the pictures of the S-Type up there in my initial post.
She looked at the screen and then immediately looked away from she screen. She loves her S-Type, and this modification shown above is for her the stuff of nightmares...
Kind of like a horror movie....
That's wild! It's like the Jaguar version of a limo. Can't say I've ever seen one of those cruising around. Must turn some heads for sure. I bet riding in it feels like you're rolling in luxury.
I rather think that riding in such a travesty would make one feel like (if not look like) an idiot.

I just had to see what an STR limo looked like. I didn't find the one in Bulgaria, but I found a pre-facelift one in Massachusetts, US https://www.expolimo.com/jaguar-s-type-r/
It's definitely a sight to behold, and the shoddy metalwork on the sills leaves a ton of questions about safety and structural rigidity up in the air, but I do kinda want to see what this thing would look like tearing up Road America...
Bone Soldier: I see that the above is your first post. Welcome.

I'd love to see pics if you still have them—sounds like a crazy project. Bet that extended driveshaft and wiring gave you a real headache. Did you ever sort the headliner issue?
